Volunteers are needed each first Monday of the month for Immanuel’s night at the soup kitchen. Set-up and food prep at 4 pm; Serving assignments at 5:30 pm; Clean-up at 6:45 pm.  Located on the corner of Preble and Oxford Streets, Portland.

“Mosaic Of Hope” Project Volunteers are needed to create seven more

mosaic panels that will wrap around the exterior of the Parkside Neighborhood Center (one is already installed).  Each panel centers on a tree from different climate regions of the world, with a scene that moves from sunrise to nighttime.  It is hoped that each who sees the mural will resonate with one of the places depicted and be made to feel welcome and at home.  This is an undertaking of PROP and Spiral Arts, who are looking for people of all ages to work on the mural at the Spiral Arts space located in Immanuel Baptist Church.  Call Spiral Arts, 207-775-1474, for more information.
